You might be thinking WHAT? This chick is crazy! We absolutely can learn problem solving skills from Mickey Mouse. This morning when my 2 year old was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse I realized that Mickey Mouse was a great problem solver. His crew look to him to solve the different problems they face in the clubhouse. Mickey Mouse on the other hand, calls to his buddy Toodles to give him the tools to tackle their problem. Then they can finish the task they were set out to accomplish. Now wouldn’t it be nice to have your own Toodles in life?

I shot a video to explain my thoughts on how we can learn a thing or two from Mickey Mouse. He does not flip out when a problem arises. Instead, he calls upon Toodles to help him solve his problem. You never see an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where Mickey Mouse is freaking out because there is a road block. You don’t see him complaining to Donald Duck about the problem. You see Mickey Mouse approaching the problem with a clear mind and an open heart. We can learn a lot from him to not let our emotions get the best of us.
We ALL have problems that we need to tackle everyday with our business, children, friends, family, finances etc. Tackling them with a clear mind and not one of panic helps us problem solve much more effectively. We are ALL equipped with the tools. We just let our emotions get the best of us sometimes. Mickey Mouse looks at the problem, calls upon Toodles, picks the BEST tool to tackle the problem and puts it to use. Then Mickey Mouse moves on. You don’t see him dwelling in that problem or issue.
This is a funny analogy you might be saying! Watch the video below, I explain how Mickey Mouse teaches us some excellent problem solving skills.
