Most of us look at the Facebook Insights section in our fan page dashboard and think “I don’t know how to read that” OR “Why is that important?” Actually, it is very important! If you know how to read your insights you can use properly when it comes to your Facebook marketing. See, the Insights will tell you everything from the growth of your fan page to the right times to post for your community. It is very important to know these stats so you can design an effective marketing plan!
In this post, I want to focus on the right times to post for your community. This will help when scheduling your Facebook posts during the week with a tool such as Hootsuite or SproutSocial. Access this section within your Facebook fan page dashboard by following these instructions:
-Click on ‘Insights’
-Click on ‘Posts’
-The top graph shows the best days and times of the week to post. Refer to picture below.
By hovering over the day of the week, you will see a line graph over the times. The highest peak in the line graph is the BEST time to post. That is when the highest amount of people are online on that particular day. This data refreshes every week, so the times will be different from week to week. I constantly check these statistics for my clients when I schedule their Social Media for them. I want to make sure that I am giving them the biggest bang for their buck when it comes to targeting their audience. This is just one way to grow your page organically.
When you reach the maximum amount of audience members at a particular time, the more engagement and likes you will receive. This means, that you are showing up in your audience newsfeed! Of course with consistancy, you will see results with your fan page over time. Remember, posting amazing value for your audience at the right times will be the best marketing plan you can ever do!
Enjoy! If you found this helpful, share this post below. See ya on the Social Media side 🙂
