Say whaaat? Before you cringe, let me explain what golden turmeric milk is and why its AMAZING! Turmeric has incredible anti-inflammatory properties and is one of the best things you can put in and on your body. This golden milk recipe combines turmeric, dairy-free milk, cinnamon, honey, ginger a dash of pepper and I like to spice it up with a little nutmeg. Combine all ingredients, heat up and sippy sip.
Golden milk aid with a more restful and deep sleep, helps fight free-radicals, loaded with antioxidants, helps to lower blood sugar levels and contains antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties.

I normally use coconut milk so I can grab more Omegas and good fats. If you don’t like coconut milk, almond or rice milk is also great for this recipe. I also like to use fresh ginger and turmeric, but I didn’t have any on hand. The recipe below shows the dried ingredient measurements. Enjoy!
