Is Your Business Coming Between You And Your Working Spouse?

I believe the title of this post says it all. Is your business coming between you and your working spouse? I share in my video of my experience with this and how I was able to overcome it.

Chris has always been my biggest fan, 100% supportive, and has even sent me a few referrals, but I was always the one to build the business because he works a full time job. To be honest with you, I would be very frustrated sometimes at the fact that he wasn’t building the business with me. I would hear statements like,

“Chris doesn’t want to leave his career bad enough” or “If he would work the business with you, you would be twice as successful!” Ouch! Hard words to hear!

Those statements would lead me to think that he didn’t want to leave his career bad enough to be a stay at home dad. Sometimes we would have arguements about what he wasn’t doing to move our business forward. Almost like I was always telling him what to do! (yucky)

How did I overcome this awful feeling? I started to become ok with him working outside of the home. He absolutely LOVES what he does! And you know what? He is REALLY good at what he does. He has a lot of favor with his company and who am I to tell him what he should or shouldn’t be doing?

If you feel like your business is coming between you and your working spouse I urge you to release that feeling now! Enjoy the process of where your business is headed. Not everyone is meant to be a stay at home MLM’er. Can you replace an income?? Of course you can! But why force it and put yourself in a position to argue with your spouse over business.

If you want to bring your spouse home from their job, go work your business to replace their income THEN tackle the decision to leave the career TOGETHER!
