’Tis the season for everything Pumpkin Spice right?! In honor of Starbucks launching their Pumpkin Spice coffee early, I want to give you all a healthier version that is easy to make and oh so healthy for you!
If you saw the regular Bulletproof coffee recipe, there is a small tweak you can make to it. Adding only a few ingredients (or one ingredient if you shop at Trader Joe’s). The pumpkin pie spice is all you need to add to the bulletproof recipe. It contains cinnamon, ginger, lemon peel, nutmeg, cloves and cardamom. If you don’t have the pumpkin pie spice, I’ve added the optional ingredients to create your very own fall bulletproof coffee.
Pumpkin Spice Bulletproof Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Regular Organic Coffee
- 1 Tbsp Grassfed Butter
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil or MCT Oil
- 2 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice (Trader Joe's)
Instructions
- Brew your regular organic cup of coffee. Pour in blender with grassfed butter, oil, pumpkin pie spice. Blend and enjoy!Optional Ingredients without Pumpkin Pie Spice2 Tsp Organic pumpkin puree1/8 Tsp. Cinnamon1/8 Tsp. Nutmeg1/8 Tsp. Vanilla
Play around with the ingredients in this recipe! Make your own version of a pumpkin spice coffee to satisfy your taste buds. Another option to add into your coffee is collagen. I use a few collagen supplements, my favorite powdered one is here.
